PortraitPainting.com was founded by Ryan Renner; Ryan was an early supporter of Barack Obama. On the right, you view a picture of him in Denver at Obama’s acceptance speech. We launched the Barack Obama oil painting website in January of 2008.
Why did we start BarackObamaOilPainting.com?
The 2008 election was historic. There are so many items on the market today to commemorate Barack Obama’s election. Some of the items are beautiful while others are cheesy. We think an oil painting is a simple and classic way to commemorate the President of the United States. During John F. Kennedy’s presidency, Catholic family’s across the country celebrated that historic moment with a picture of JFK in their homes. This is a similar time, and for so many people, Obama’s presidency is an inspiration.
